Multi-instrumentalist songwriter who works out of several studios around New England as well as Beach House Studios. Starting with the band One Of Us, and then going solo writing and producing music for contemporary release as well as soundtrack scores for film, John has composed, produced, engineered, mixed and mastered music from all genres, ranging from acoustic, pop, rock, hip hop, to world, electronic, and classical.

John Eye began performing in 1992 when he formed the band ‘One Of Us’ as an extension of his creative process. Being an art student he was familiar with expressing emotion through paint, ceramics, and metals, but when he began writing and performing music, he discovered the direct connection he had been seeking between emotional inspiration, and communication. Essentially he began painting with sound.

In 1995 John built his first studio ‘Necessary Blackout’, and recorded there until 2006 when he build his second studio ‘Beach House Studios’. John now composes music for film, and produces other artists mixing and mastering at Beach House Studios.
